MJ came to TENSAI at the recommendation of AMS in the USA as we are appointed dealers for AMS in Abu Dhabi. He had already purchased an AMS turboback exhaust and came to us for installation and a custom tun. With the help of an HKS EVC VI and the bolt-ons, this car managed a very healthy 315whp on the stock turbo. After the misfire problems faced in the Rumman hillclimb this year, it was decided to take the HC400R’s engine apart to see if there was any internal fault causing the high boost misfire. While it’s cracked open it will get a freshening up and possibly some minor internal upgrades. Some pictures:

Over the last few months, we were working with our dear friend and customer Mr. Daniel Hanna (one the well known Egyptian Race Driver) on a custom modification program for his Evo IX RS. A final package was agreed and an order from the US was delivered earlier this month directly to Cairo, Egypt.
